MECHANIC

Reporting to The Workshop Manager, the successful candidate will be performing maintenance and repairs to all golf course equipment and Company vehicles.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and hard-working Mechanic to join our Golf Course Maintenance Workshop team. Reporting directly to The Workshop Manager, the successful Mechanic will be required to use their own initiative and judgement daily. Performing maintenance and repairs to golf course equipment and Company vehicles requires a high degree of flexibility with working hours, which ensures the workshop meets the demands of the business.

Contract Type: Permanent- Full Time
Pay: £33,779.20pa

Essential Skills and Requirements
• Excellent knowledge about motor technology with a minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally working on Golf Course or agricultural machinery.
• Ability to recognise/diagnose faults.
• Ability to conduct all repairs and service work to Manufacturer’s and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Possession of own tools.
• Valid UK driving licence

Desired Skills
• Familiarity with electric and hydraulic systems.
• Welding/fabrication experience.
• Computer literate in Word and Excel packages.
