Grade/Pay Scale: UoG G3: £18,282 - £20,092 per annum (plus flexible working supplement of £3,178).


The University has an exciting opportunity for an experienced stockperson at the Scottish Centre for Production Animal Health & Food Safety (SCPAHFS). The role would suit someone who has experience working with livestock, wants to help the next generation of vets and is a good communicator.


Based at the SCPAHFS, Division of Farm Animal Clinical Sciences, Garscube campus of the University of Glasgow, School of Veterinary Medicine, the successful applicant will undertake full time (35 hours per week with additional 1/3 weekend working (4 hours on Saturday and Sunday respectively).


The role will also involve transport of livestock so candidates must have a valid driving licence, and ideally, animal transport qualifications and be 21 years of age or older (for vehicle insurance purposes).


This post will be offered on an open-ended basis. Please note, this post will not be offered with housing.
