She is by the Ampertaine Elgin son, Sheehills Jet, out of a Limousin cross British Blue cow and was consigned by PJ and TA Jones, Tyisaf, Erwood.
Minutes later, Black Magic, an eight-month-old heifer by the same sire and from the same home, scooped the reserve honours and realised £3900 to Colin Harris, Little Lambert, Devon.
Mr Dufton also bought the top priced steer, Honkey Tonk, an eight-month-old Limousin cross steer from Messrs Lewis, Pentwyn, at £2900 and Brutus Oswald, a 10-month-old Limousin cross steer at £2450 from Messrs Brute, Gwmndwnwal.
