Plasucha Texels produced the top priced gimmer and ewe lamb at the Shropshire and Borders Club sale at Welshpool, with sales at 3800gns and 1400gns, respectively.

Sale leader from Robert Bennett's flock was a daughter of the home-bred Plasucha All Star, out of a dam by Eden Valley Wiz Kid. She sold due to Millhouse Cyclone to Jeremy Theyer, Cheltenham.

Mr Bennett's lead ewe lamb, an April-born entry by Donrho Aristocrac out of a Plasucha All Star daughter, was purchased by M Oare, Pantgoes, Brynfford.

Caithness breeder, G Sinclair, Lyth, bought two Plasucha ewe lambs at 1300gns and 1100gns. Full ET sisters, they are by Aristocrac and out of an All Star-sired dam.

Second top price was 2000gns paid for a gimmer from Robert Pierce’s Oldford flock, Cheshire. A Gyrhos Andy daughter out of a dam by Tullylagan Tonka, she was bought by G Richardson, Whixall, Shropshire, in lamb to Knock Yankee.
