SOME 60 years of pedigree breeding came to an end at Worcester Auction Market, when the well-known Nightingale herd of the late WA Robertson Estate, was dispersed and sold to 7000gns.

The herd from Bishmapton, Vale of Evesham, Worcester, was topped by Nightingale Kristina T936, a second calver by Fordel Parthenon Minotaur, which sold with May-born bull calf at foot by Drumhill Lord Hampton. Final bidders were Messrs Vaughan, buying for their mixed farming operation at Kingsland, Leominster.
