Lakeview Leading Ladies sale was topped at 6500gns by this gimmer
Gary Beacom's Lakeview White Ladies sale of pedigree Texels sold to £6300 at a timed online sale through Harrison and Hetherington.
Sale leader was an ET gimmer that would have been the 2021 show ewe lamb for the Northern Ireland-based flock. A maternal sister to Lakeview Drifter and Dirty Dancer, she is bred from a Plasucha ewe by Plasucha Allstar, sired by Castlecairn Doodlebug, and sold to William Cubbitt, Ballymena.
Minutes earlier, Messrs Barrett, Kerry, bought another by Doodlebug, bred from a different Plasucha ewe by Allstar at £2600.
Just behind, on £2150, Messrs Regan, Roscommon, bought another by Doodlebug, bred from an Auldhouseburn female by Sportsmans A Star.
