A top price of £3600 and just nine milking animals selling for less than £2000 were just some of the key highlights at this month's Borderway Dairy Day sale at Carlisle.

Taking that top price was Wreaywood Rager Becky Red from the Wilson family from Woodside, Wreay, Carlisle. Their 2019-born cow has just produced her second calf and was already giving 45kg. A daughter of Ri Val Re Rager Red, bred from Wreaywood Activator Becky Red 43, she found a new home with Messrs Kinloch, Cardross, Dumbarton, with the Wilsons consignment of 19 cows cashing in at £2563.
