A homozygous polled maiden heifer topped the dispersal of Paul and Jessica Semple’s pedigree Limousin herd at Stoneleigh when selling at 5900gns.

The sale, staged alongside a draft from Nigel Hollick’s Honesberie herd, saw some unique genetics on offer when the couple had invested in polled European bloodlines.

Sale leader was the June 2021-born heifer Goodrest Sequin, sired by Greensons Orson and out of the Hinz daughter Grahams Luna. She sold carrying two copies of F94L gene to NAS Johnson of the Bitteswell herd, Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
