Breeding cattle sold the same day as the bulls through United Auctions' Stirling, also sold well, peaking at £5500 and £5300 for a British Blue cross and Limousin cross heifer with bull calf at foot, respectively from J McAllister, West Thomaston, Banknock.
The inaugural sale of Salers females reached 2600gns for cows and calves from Rob and Iain Livesey, Nether Firth, while Gill and Malcolm Pye, Rednock, led the bulling heifers at 1800gns.
