An in-lamb Texel gimmer from Usk Vale Pedigrees Ltd, Lower Gaufron, Powys, secured, the top price of 2700gns at Lawrie and Symington's Lanark Limelights Online Timed Auction.
Gavin Buchan, Clinterty, flock from Aberdeen, got for his money a Knock-bred gimmer sired by Knock Dalwhinnie, which is carrying a single to the 100,000gns Glenside Forever II.
Bluefaced Leicesters achieved the next top price at 2300gns for a ewe hogg from the Wight family, Midlock, Crawford. She is a daughter of Midlock Zeus N002 and out of a Marriforth K004 daughter. She heads to New Cumnock with John Guild, Ashmark.
Another ewe hogg from the same home made 2100gns this one being the result of the Marriforth N024 sire onto a home-bred ewe by Midlock Mustang F027. Final bidder here was RJ Fallows and Sons, Cockrig, Lanark.
A Midlock gimmer made 1000gns, this one was carrying triplets to Riddings P002 and the hammer fell to John Shedden, Newfield Mains, Dundonald, Kilmarnock. She is a daughter of Steel L003, bred from a Carryhouse H001 daughter.

Sticking in the same breed and also on the 1000gns price tag was the best from Finlay Robertson of the Beeches flock, Crosswoodhill, West Lothian. That was a ewe hogg sired by Moneygran P008, which was the ram inside the 5000gns Shafthill ewe that was purchased at their dispersal, whilst the dam is Temain N058. James Cullen, Dollarbank, Clackmannanshire, took this one home.
Kenny Pratt of the Hilltop flock, Oldtown, Peterculter, sold his dearest in-lamb gimmer for 1000gns to J Gunn, Main Street, Keith. Sired by Sportsmans Cannon Ball, she is out of a Sportsmans Admirall II sired home-bred dam, and sold carrying twins to the 28,000gns Auldhouseburn Fancy Pants.
David Morrison, Dalwyne, Girvan offered for sale a Blue Texel twin implanted embryos to a top of 800gns to G Fleming, Nether Brotherston Farm, Heriot. They are sired by the Saltire Blue Ferocious and out of the Little Whisker Import who is sired by Rap-Heything.
