One of Case IH's most popular tractors has been awarded a gold medal at the influential Polish Agrotech 2023 show.
Its new Puma 260 CVXDrive tractor was the award-winner and, said the judges 'for design and solutions which enhance work efficiency, for improved comfort and safety'.
The jury had evaluated functional properties, effectiveness of use, product quality and aesthetics, as well as the impact on the natural environment and their novelty on the market.

This is the first Puma to incorporate Case IH’s AFS Connect technology which provides field and fleet planning, analysis and remote data sharing. It also allows remote monitoring, support and troubleshooting, so minimising tractor downtime.
Its new cab is larger and quieter than on previous Pumas, with automotive standards of materials and a range of easy-to-use control features.
The tractor’s smooth CVXDrive continuously variable transmission is capable of a maximum 40 or 50kph, with top speed on 50kph models attainable at 1550rpm for minimal fuel consumption.
Meanwhile, the brand's UK dealership staff were amongst more than 1400 attendees from across the world to its ‘Trust the Red’ dealer convention in Madrid, recently, which revealed new products in the pipeline and included training on them.

Dealer groups from 25 countries attended training events staggered market by market. Products at the event included existing models, but also recent developments across the Case IH tractor power offering, as well as Case IH balers and loaders, with details due to be made public in the coming months.
Farmall's 100th anniversary
Case IH has been celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the Farmall tractor – this iconic model was initially introduced in 1923 as the all-purpose tractor designed to revolutionise the agricultural industry.
The celebration will be anchored in the concept of the Farmall being 'The one for all'.
“In 1923, we set out to design a tractor that could replace horses, and today, our Farmall still serves as the workhorse on farms across the globe,” said Scott Harris, Case IH's global brand president.
“Generation after generation, Farmall has been a symbol of modern farming, and we’re excited to bring these stories to life over the course of 2023.”
Major milestones for Farmall:
* 1923: International Harvester engineer Bert R Benjamin designs the first Farmall prototype.
* 1931: The F Series is presented for farmers with more acreage.
* 1939: Second generation Farmall designed by Raymond Loewy.
* 1941: Farmall introduces the world’s first diesel row crop tractor.
* 1947: The 1,000,000th Farmall rolls off the line.
* 1958: The most popular tractor in the US, the Farmall 560 is introduced.
* 1965: First 2WD row crop tractor to exceed 100 horsepower is a Farmall.
* 1971: Farmall goes global with tractors sold in 125 countries and components made in eight.
* 1974: Case IH sells its five millionth Farmall – the first tractor to ever reach that number.
* 2003: The brand had been discontinued and then re-introduced that year. Case IH has since continued to expand the lineup of products spanning from 25120hp, with more than 30 models to choose from.
