JODIE WEIR from Kilnhills Farm, Lanark, has been named as one of 18 girls who have qualified for the final of the Miss Scotland competition, which will be held on June 6, with the winner then going on to compete for the Miss World title in Thailand.
However 20-year-old Jodie isn't the only one in the family to have ever picked up a 'Miss' title, as her mum Kaye Gardiner won Miss Scotch Lamb in 1995 as a member of Lesmahagow Young Farmers.
As part of her charity work, Jodie will be running a fundraising ball on May 31 at Strathaven Hotel, in aid of Melanoma UK
