HARBRO recently organised a dairy trip to Denmark with a group of farmers from Scotland and Northern Ireland. Denmark is one of the most efficient agricultural countries in the world with its dairy herds achieving an annual milk production of 11,000 litres.
The trip was hosted by All About Cows, Harbro’s Maxammon distributor. Four high profile farms feeding Maxammon wheat and barley with a multi cut silage system were visited. There was also a visit to Viking Genetics who supply 90% of the semen in Denmark.
