A two-horned gimmer from Welsh breeders, DW and SL Harries' Hope flock from Wenant, Llandeilo, topped the first sale of Jacob females at Carlisle, selling for 1300gns.
Backed by home-bred genetics on both sides, she is by Hope Rory, out of a home-bred dam by Pike Field Braveheart and sold carrying a single lamb to Hope Flame of Ace, to Messrs Christian, Saham Waite, Shipdham, Norfolk.

The same home sold also sold a four-horned ewe by the same sire for 900gns to Messrs Jenkins, Jeffreyston, Kilgetty, Pembrokeshire. She is bred from a Hope Ding Dong sired-ewe, and changed hands scanned for a pair to Hope Flame of Ace.
In an all Scottish transaction Ewen Macmillan, Lurg, Fintry, sold his best to Messrs Connor and Dalrymple, Bridgend, Linlithgow, for 1000gns. This four-horned ewe is sired by Dunmor Ace, out of a Edingale Harlem sired- dam, and sold served to Harbell Lincoln.
