The 2023 National Vintage Tractor Road Run is being hosted by Glenluce Vintage Tractors, at Kirkland Wig Bay Airfield at Kirkcolm, Stranraer over the Easter Weekend – April 7-9.

The event marks the fourth time the National Run has been staged in Scotland since it began in 1985 and entries are already flooding in from as far south as Wales and Cornwall and Wales, with a lot of interest from Northern Irish and Scottish vintage tractor enthusiasts.

Stewart Birse, NVTRR2023 organiser along with his committee are currently busy making arrangements and finalising details of this major event for Wigtownshire. From the venue on the shores of Lochryan, participants will travel on road through Stranraer, Leswalt , Ervie and Kirkcolm whilst taking in the excellent views of the surrounding area.

NVTRR 2023 has nominated three charities to benefit from the road run – Cancer Research UK, Dumfries and Galloway Blood Bikes and Wigtownshire Multiple Sclerosis group.
