Discounted farmer tickets for this year’s Great Yorkshire Show have gone on sale, with organisers keeping prices at the same level as 2025.
The tickets, which are reserved exclusively for those working in agriculture, can be used on any day of the 167th show, taking place from July 14–17 at the Great Yorkshire Showground.
Priced at £27.50 for adults, £10 for children and £65 for a family ticket, the discounted passes aim to give farmers greater flexibility to attend around busy workloads on farm.
Show director Rachel Coates said agriculture remained “the beating heart” of the event.
She added: “By offering a discounted any-one-day ticket, and at the same price as last year, we hope this gives farmers the extra flexibility they need to fit a visit to the Show around their commitments on farm.
“A limited number of farmer tickets are available and all tickets to the Show do sell out in advance, so we would encourage farmers to get their tickets now, safe in the knowledge that they are free to choose nearer the time which day to attend.”
Farmer tickets must be purchased online or from selected agricultural outlets and will not be available on the gate. Buyers must provide approved identification such as an National Farmers' Union membership number, County Parish Holding number, Country Land and Business Association membership, Tenant Farmers Association membership or Ulster Farmers' Union membership.
Free shuttle buses will run every 10 minutes between Harrogate bus station and the showground throughout the four-day event.
