THE annual NORGRASS grassland competition was held recently, at Darrahill, Udny by kind permission of the Barron Family, once again arranged by the North of Scotland Grassland Society for SAYFC members to promote good grassland management.
Twenty competitors from clubs in the Grampian area answered questions based on silage grass management, conservation and feeding and grazing.
The overall senior winner of the competition was Daniel Skinner from Garioch YFC who wins a place at The Grassland Society summer tour in Gloucestershire later this year.
