Alison Hunter took supreme in the showmanship section
Alison Hunter (21) had plenty to celebrate at the Borderway UK Dairy Expo at Carlisle last weekend, winning the overall showmanship and a reserve championship in the Jersey cattle section.
Alison, previously of West Tarbrax, but now based at Myremill, Maybole, scooped the top showmanship award from no fewer than 60 entries on the Friday and the following day lifted the blue and white sash in the Jerseys with Clydeview Excitation Magic, bred at the family farm at West Tarbrax, Shotts.
