LIVESCOT WELCOMED an excellent turnout of visitors and exhibitors alike at the event's annual meet, and it seemed that numbers were up on last year, presumably due to the newly introduced dairy, poultry and in-lamb sheep sections that the show had to offer, along with the traditional beef cattle and calf classes.
Although numbers were up, the question was still raised by many about whether or not shows such as this are worthwhile, but most agreed they are, if not just for the showing aspect, but for the social side, which brings many members of the agricultural community together.
