Some 71 MV accredited female sheep were forward for an inaugural evening show and sale at Forfar, judged by Graeme Mather and his daughter Fallon, Shandford, who went on to buy their choice of champion which topped the trade at 1800gns.
This was a Texel, a gimmer from Robbie Wilson's Milnbank flock from Turriff. She is sired by Castlecairn Doodlebro and sold carrying a single lamb to Knockem Ferocious.

The reserve supreme, a Beltex gimmer from Stuart Wood, Broadwater, Skene, made 550gns, selling to AW Nicholson and Son, Kinclaven. Her sire is Swiffryd Eye Catcher, and she sold scanned in lamb to Shantonhill Gypsy King carrying twins.
Two other Texel gimmers from Alan and Hugh Blackwood, Auldhouseburn, Muirkirk, made 1000gns with the first selling to Nicola Howie, Cairnton, Fraserburgh and the second to John Lawrie, Tillyrie.
